Stories of Inspiration: Warrior Princess

At the age of two, sweet Ella was diagnosed with a brain tumor.  Following diagnosis, her parents, Vicky & Joey, were completely lost and terrified as they spent the days that followed constantly worrying about what was going to happen to Ella and if she were going to live.

Ella had surgery days later to remove her tumor, a juvenile pilocytic astrocytoma. Fortunately for Ella, the tumor was completely removed and she has had no adverse side-effects from the tumor or surgery and her family remains forever hopeful that no future problems arise.

Ella is happy, healthy and enjoying life as any little girl should. Throughout this journey, Ella’s strength and courage earned her a well-deserved title – Warrior Princess.
