Butterfly Fund Brings Ray Of Sunshine

This post is part of a series of testimonials from families who have benefited from BTFC’s Butterfly Fund, which generously assists families in financial crisis as a result of a child’s diagnosis of a brain or spinal cord tumor.  The Butterfly Fund meets immediate, specific financial needs so parents/guardians can concentrate on caring for their child.  This post was guest written by Anne Claire Schueler’s mother, Angie.

“As a parent, there is nothing more numbing than receiving the devastating news that your child has a brain tumor.  Your whole world is suddenly turned upside down and your heart is broken.  Even though your heart has stopped, the world does not.  The Brain Tumor Foundation for Children and its Butterfly Fund bring a ray of sunshine to your newly dimmed world.  When your child is so sick, you don’t have time to think about everyday expenses and lost wages.  Your child needs you.”

About The Brain Tumor Foundation for Children
