Butterfly Fund Helps Brianna’s Family

This post is part of a series of testimonials from families who have benefited from BTFC’s Butterfly Fund, which generously assists families in financial crisis as a result of a child’s diagnosis of a brain or spinal cord tumor.  The Butterfly Fund meets immediate, specific needs for families so that they can concentrate on caring for their child.  This post was guest written by Brianna Borwig’s mother, Kim Borwig.

“The Butterfly Fund really helped us while Brianna was in and out of the hospital fighting an inoperable brainstem tumor.  It helped us by paying our gas bill a few times and that helped free up money for us to pay medical copays and to buy supplies we needed for Brianna’s care.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and helping families in times of need.”
